The Black Film Center/Archive is a repository of films and related materials by and about African Americans. Included are films which have substantial participation by African Americans as writers, actors, producers, directors, musicians, and consultants, as well as those which depict some aspect of black experience.

Midnight Ramble Video:
Established in 1992 in Portland, Oregon, MRV sells vintage African American videos from a forgotten or unknown era in American cinema history. "Midnight Ramble" was a term used to describe a period in cinema history when African Americans in the South would view Race-Films in segregated theaters.


Oscar Micheaux Society:
The Micheaux Society: An organization sponsored by the Duke University Program in Film Studies, is devoted to the preservation of and scholarship about Oscar Micheaux's works.
