The Early Age of Black American Cinema
Beginning with a screening of award winning PBS documentary, MIDNIGHT
RAMBLE: Oscar Micheaux & the Story of Race Movies, SHOULDERS of The ANCESTORS is a celebration
of the early age of Black American Cinema. It's also a fundraiser with proceeds split between the Wellness Center
& the Cincinnati Youth Collaborative. Sponsored by BFMMI and the Esquire Theater.

RAW STOCK® is an education-based
film festival focusing primarily on filmmakers of color locally(within the Cincinnati/Tri-State area), nationally & globally
through screenings, discussion and creative expression. Existing to afford the opportunity to extend the bonds of inter-community
dialogue between multi-cultural, multi-ethnic, socio- economic groups in a grass roots, community-based atmosphere.
